Buying home is an exciting—and often intimidating process. Buying a home remains the American dream for many, and by learning what you need to know about the process, you can minimize stress and unwelcomed surprises and help to ensure that you’re getting the best deal possible.
Make Your Move is a comprehensive guide to helping you realize your dream of homeownership. This course will help you to determine if you are ready for homeownership and will help you understand the importance of your credit history when it comes to buying a home. You’ll also get in-depth information about who is involved in the home-buying process, learn what types of loans are available, and will know what to expect when it comes time to finalize your loan.

Upon entering the program you will be asked some basic questions (demographics). Please reply to as many questions as you feel comfortable answering. After answering these questions, you will be directed to the Make Your Move pre-assessment. Don’t worry if you don’t know all the answers; the goal of Make Your Move is to help you learn this information.
After completing the pre-assessment, you can move to Lesson 1, followed by the Chapter Review, which will allow you to demonstrate what you’ve learned from the lesson. You’ll do the same for Lessons 2 through 9.
