what it is
Students can complete the program by obtaining a twelve-lesson workbook, Credit When Credit Is Due, which is also available in Spanish: Credito Al Merito. Or students can complete the entire program online, an option which gives them the opportunity to work when it fits their schedule and at their own pace.

Credit When Credit Is Due can be taught by a facilitator or teacher, or can be self-taught by either online education or a text self-study. Chapter reviews follow each lesson and are evaluated on a pass/fail basis. When students successfully complete the program, they will be registered in a national database and sent a registration card identifying them as a graduate of this national standardized credit education program.  Additionally, they will receive three cards addressed to the three major credit-reporting agencies that will allow them to add a positive statement to their credit report, stating that they have successfully completed the Credit When Credit Is Due program.
