what it is
Money in Motion is a short, 2-hour financial education program available online or in a 72 page workbook for classroom, telephonic, or self-study, and is currently used by more than 70 credit counseling agencies. In a recent study, the US Treasury Department’s Office of Financial Education identified several areas of deficiency shared by individuals who are struggling with money issues. Money in Motion addresses these key problems.
Except for the necessary financial terminology, Money in Motion is written on an eighth-grade reading level, using stories to bring the lessons to life. Students who have completed the program report that it is helpful, effective, and in their own words, “life changing.” The average student will increase his or her testing scores by 26%. You are free to choose and establish your own automated registration and payment platform. We have also established an automated registration platform with two major industry suppliers, and there will be more payment options to follow.
- Vanco Services can provide your agency with a “debit card only” payment platform for your bankruptcy education students to use. The payment page transfers paid students directly into the Money in Motion system, allowing them to pay and complete the program entirely unassisted.
- Credit counseling agencies using DMS Solutions from Cooperative Processing Resources (CPR) can register their existing clients directly into the Money in Motion system with a couple of clicks. This way, there’s no need to key the information into two separate systems. Eliminating duplicate processes saves you time and money.
how the buying process works
Money in Motion is a high quality program at an affordable price. You may be eligible for quantity discounts, and after the first 50 students there are no other requirements to buy. Your agency pays for the online students at the end of the month in which they were registered. There is no program friendlier to your cash flow. Money in Motion has received a considerable amount of positive feedback from agencies, which includes comments from those that are reporting savings in staff time, telephone costs, mailing time, and supplies. How are these savings possible? Because these agencies have chosen to offer online education in addition to telephonic or classroom options.

If you are already approved and would like to start using Money in Motion, ACCE will provide the materials and sample methodology answers for your amended application or your re-application. ACCE has provided the same successful guidance to dozens of agencies.
As a Money in Motion bankruptcy partner, you can access Excel reports that will answer all of the EOUST re-application questions about your agency’s students. You will also have free use of the “Knowing Your Options” e-book for pre-filing sessions. The e-book will guide your counselors through the EOUST requirements of the budget and briefing process. Also included is the “Reasons” form your pre-file clients will need to complete.
The Money in Motion tracking features allow you to report all student activity in dozens of useful ways. The reports can be accessed by delivery method (classroom, Internet, telephone, or all combined), date range, or type of student. The reports feature:
